Jo could try this treatment if she doesn’t like using the ‘vet’ products.
15 drops of each of the following essential oils - Mint, Eucalyptus, Lavender into ½ litre of White Vinegar. Mix the lot into a spray bottle, spray it over your dog’s fur & rub it in.
Do this weekly; it makes them smell nice too. It’s not cheap to buy initially but lasts for ages.
With the ‘vet’ products, Advantix works better than Frontline, this ticks have become immune to Frontline.
Also, use a hook to remove the tick when one does attach, it prevents bleeding and infection.
