A young girl was on holiday in between Bordeaux and Angouleme, a girl passionate about horses since she was 4 years old. She was walking with a donkey with its bridle on when it kicked her. She was taken to hospital but died of her injury. At the moment very little else known about this story but one that I am interested in having had youngsters about and also having donkeys. Donkeys are like any big animal they can be unpredicatable, for example if they get stung or frightened by something they do panic. I can only think the donkey reared up and the child got her head kicked.We have crash/riding helmets for the children but they do not use them except for riding, maybe they should.
