The towns people and shopkeepers are rightly livid as €1,200,000 (yes that's 1.2 million euros) is to be spent ripping up the old square and installing a system of water jet fountains like you see in Montauban and Albi etc.
Apparently it's for the tourists.
Not sure if the market stalls can return to the square.
That's one Maire who definitely won't get re-elected next year !
