The beach by the river Lot at St Cirq Lapopie has been closed for a few weeks due to an infectious pollution causing sickness and diarrhoea. It appears to have cleared itself spontaneously (presumably downstream...). The beach has consequently been re-opened to add to the attractions of this beautiful Lotois village.
